Italy is a must-see country. It has some of the best food, history, beaches, landscape and the people are so welcoming. It’s impossible to say what are the best things to do in Italy as there is so much to see and do, but here are 9 must do’s if you go.

Elba Island is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is comparable to the beauty of Hawaii but at a fraction of the cost. The views are stunning, the beaches are quiet and of course, the food is amazing. We never knew about Elba Island until my family told me about it. To us, Elba Island is a must-see! It is a short train and ferry ride from Florence. You won’t regret it.

Rome is one of those cities everybody should visit. When we were in Florence, Italy we decided to do a day trip on the train to Rome. We left at around 8:00 am and the train ride is about 90 mins. This left us with approximately 10 hours to explore Rome. We were able to see the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.
